The Streets Division of Public Works is responsible for
boulevard trees,
sidewalks and pathways, street and traffic signs, and street maintenance, including snow removal, sweeping, and pothole repairs. For after-hours reporting of flooding, downed trees, downed light poles, or downed signs, please call the Dakota Communications Center at (952) 322-2323.
Spring Load Restrictions County Roads
County roads are the responsibility of Dakota County. Questions or concerns regarding County Road 42, Cedar Avenue, Diamond Path, Pilot Knob Road, McAndrews Road, and 160th Street should be directed to the Dakota County Transportation Department at (952) 891-7900.
Cedar Avenue, north of 138th Street, is the responsibility of the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Questions or concerns regarding this highway should be directed to the Minnesota Department of Transportation Information Center at (651) 582-1550.
