Open gyms take place at the Apple Valley Community Center, located at 14603 Hayes Rd. See the open gym calendars below for occasional skip days due to facility rentals or tournaments.

Pre-K, Youth, and Family Open Gym

Pre-K Gym

Let your child run-off some energy, play with other kids, and have fun! Participants must wear tennis shoes in the gym. An adult must accompany all children and be in the gym at all times. All equipment is provided; please do not bring in additional equipment. 
Age: 5 and under with an adult
When: School Year: Mon, Wed & Fri; 9–11 a.m.    Summer: Wednesdays 9–11 a.m.
Cost & Registration: $15 yearly membership or $3/family drop-in. Register here.

Youth Gym

Open gym admission card required for entry; cards are free and can be ordered online and picked up at the Community Center. One admission card per participant. Adult guardian supervision is not required, but they may be in the gym; adult are not allowed to participate. Team practices and training/drill equipment are not permitted. Courts/hoops are not exclusive or able to be reserved. Please be inclusive. No baseball, softball, soccer, lax, field hockey, etc.
Age: Grades 6–12
When: Monday-Friday, 2:30–4:30 p.m., Saturdays & Sundays, noon–2 p.m.

Family Gym

Courts are open for shooting, playing catch, walking/running laps, or pick-up games. Team practices and training/drill equipment are not permitted. An adult must be on site supervising kids at all times.  Guardians may not drop off and leave kids. Courts/hoops are not exclusive or able to be reserved. Please be inclusive. No baseball, softball, soccer, lax, field hockey, etc.
Age: 17 and under with adult
When: Mon–Fri, noon–2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, noon–2 p.m.
Cost & Registration: Free. No registration required
