Public nuisances are conditions found to be detrimental to general health, safety, and welfare of the public. What exactly is a public nuisance in Apple Valley? The following conditions constitute a public nuisance in Apple Valley:

Public nuisances are conditions found to be detrimental to general health, safety, and welfare of the public. What exactly is a public nuisance in Apple Valley? The following conditions constitute a public nuisance in Apple Valley:

1. Exposed accumulation of rotting food.
2. All pools or ponds of stagnant water.
3. Refuse accumulation including yard waste.
4. Noxious weeds as identified specifically by state statutes and by city ordinances.
5. Grass and rank vegetation over 8” in height.
6. Snow and Ice not removed from public sidewalks within a period of 48 hours from snow event.
7. Obstructions of public right of ways.
8. Tree limbs and wires overhanging public sidewalks.
9. Dangerous unguarded machinery.
10. Outdoor storage of machinery, household appliances or furniture, or other material.
11. Uncovered wells, holes, or excavations.
