Between September 2-7 the Apple Valley Police responded to an unusual number of vandalism to vehicle calls throughout the city. Victims reported their vehicle tires were slashed. The incidents usually happen overnight with victims becoming aware of the crime the following morning. Residents are encouraged to lock their vehicles, remove all valuables and park in their garage overnight. In addition turn your outside lights on from dusk until dawn. Be good neighbors by watching out for each other and report all suspicious activity to 911.
