Come see a behind-the-scenes view of how drinking water is supplied and enjoy a close-up view of public works equipment including snow plow trucks, an aerial bucket truck and lots more. Visit with engineering staff about upcoming City projects, discuss a home improvement project with a building inspector or learn about forestry programs from natural resources staff. Witness the formal ribbon cutting scheduled for 11 a.m. Lots of fun activities for the kids (adults too) and refreshments – ice cold “water” and lemonade to wash down grilled hotdogs and brats. Parking: Eastview High School parking lot and Central Maintenance front parking lot. Please use pedestrian crosswalks on Flagstaff Avenue to access the site at 6442-140th Street West.
