Police Officer Kailie Hinkle took the oath of office and ceremonially received her service badge at the Council meeting of March 30.

On October 26, 2016, Officer Kailie Hinkle joined the Apple Valley Police Department as a police officer. She completed the rigorous field training process and was assigned to solo patrol February 22.  Prior to joining the department Officer Hinkle worked for a year as a security officer at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Officer Hinkle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in law enforcement and a minor in psychology from Minnesota State University – Mankato.
