Home ownership and maintenance can become difficult for aging individuals. Do you know someone, or are you yourself in need of assistance completing routine household chores such as yard work and various home cleaning and maintenance tasks?
DARTS, a community based non-profit organization, offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor chore services to aging individuals in need of such assistance. The program is intended to help connect individuals with resources and services that will improve their quality of life. Common chore services include, but are not limited to: house cleaning, laundry, grocery and errands, home maintenance such as fixture and bulb replacement, shoveling, lawn mowing, raking, and window washing. These services and more are available to qualified residents of Apple Valley. DARTS also has funding through the City of Apple Valley for low income clients, who cannot afford chore services.
