The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. On Saturday, April 27 the Apple Valley Police Department lobby will be open from 10 am to 2 pm for anyone who wants to bring in unused or expired prescription and over the counter medications for safe disposal.
