The Apple Valley and Rosemount Police Departments are again joining forces to host a joint Citizens Police Academy. The program offers an inside look at the operations of both departments and covers topics such as DWI enforcement, SWAT, K9, Use of Force, Crime Scene Investigation and much more. The academy starts April 1, 2020 and runs Wednesday nights 6 pm – 9 pm until May 20. Registration is open to anyone living or working in Apple Valley or Rosemount, 18 years of age or older pending the outcome of a background check. Applicants will be notified of acceptance or denial via email. Space is limited so register early!
