[ARCHIVED] Dakota County Offers Reduced Fee Mattress Curbside Collection!

Mattress1

Do you have mattresses and/or box springs that are no longer needed? Dakota County and Certified Recycling is offering reduce rate curbside pick-up now through September 6, 2021.

Certified Recycling, in partnership with Dakota County, is offering a special pickup rate for Dakota County residents through September 6 for any type of mattress or box spring. Instead of sending them to a landfill, Certified Recycling disassembles the mattresses and box springs to recycle the metal, wood and cloth into new products. High-quality mattresses will be separated and donated to Bridging for people in need. The fee for pickup and recycling is $45 for the first item and $25 for each additional item, with no limit on quantity. Mattresses and box springs can be difficult to dispose of due to their size.  This program will allow City residents a chance to conveniently do so at the curbside for a reasonable price.

For more information and to schedule a curbside pick-up, call 952-894-1448 or go to the Certified Recycling website at certifiedrecycling.org. Once there, look under pricing and then promotions.
