[ARCHIVED] Host a Night to Unite Block Party!

Night to Unite Police Nick Francis Kids UTV_300x300

Join forces with your neighbors and plan a block party on Tuesday, August 2 in support of Apple Valley’s night out against crime! Have fun while building police and community partnerships and promoting crime prevention.

What is Night to Unite?

Neighborhoods are encouraged to organize a gathering with their neighbors in support of Night to Unite. Crime maps, street closure supplies, and sidewalk chalk will be supplied to neighborhood parties that register. Police, Fire, and City personnel will be paying visits to neighborhood parties. We are encouraging residents to collect school supplies at their parties for our School Supply Drive which benefits students in need in ISD 196. We are also hosting our 2nd annual Chalk Art Contest for fabulous prizes.

Night to Unite is designed to:

  1. Help neighbors get to know one another
  2. Build neighborhood involvement by bringing police and communities together
  3. Bring awareness to crime prevention and local law enforcement efforts
