Apple Valley Family Aquatic Center and Redwood Outdoor Pool Closed for the Season. The outdoor pool season began in early June. Throughout the summer the Apple Valley Family Aquatic Center hosted families, school groups, church groups, daycares, birthday parties, and individuals. The facilities have been highly popular! Redwood pool hosted four sessions of swimming lessons and daily open swim hours. Sunday, August 25th was the final day of the 2013 season. As an alternate water play area, the very popular Kelley Park splashpad will remain operational through approximately mid-September (weather permitting).
