The Apple Valley Police Department is again offering a Citizens Police Academy in 2014.
The Academy gives an inside look at the Police Department covering such topics as the booking process, crime scene investigation, K9, the Drug Task Force and much more. The Academy is free of charge and available to anyone 18 years old or older who either lives or works in Apple Valley.
The Academy will run Tuesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting April 1 and ending May 27, 2014. Registration is accepted online and must be completed by March 25, 2014. Criminal background checks will be conducted on all applicants.
